Booking a tour

Booking a tour is hard. However, stayed tuned for a list of dates for the Western Canadian tour starting in June with Randy Hutchings & the Swagger with Zoe Bentley.

Also, for those of you looking for my first CD The Lost Art of Conversation, it is available through CD Baby in the states. My latest CD Atlantic Avenue will be available in June 2006 through Universal Music Canada and should be in every music store in Canada. If it's not then ask for it...please!

And last, my website will be up and running by the end of March.

Across the universe! Okay, Canada....

In March I will be heading to Toronto for Canadian Music Week for a showcase. Through Opening Day Entertainment Group we will have a showcase for all the artists on the label. Then in May my CD will be distributed through Universal Music Group Canada. I will be hitting the road for a cross Canada tour in May and June with singer/songwriter Zoe Bentley. Check out her site www.zoemusiconline. We did a small Western Tour last year and it was blast. So needless to say Canada coast to coast will be off the charts... or on the charts hopefully. Zoe is a great talent and also has recorded one of my songs. Actually I wrote it specifically for her and it's called 'Reach for the Stars'.

I promise to keep this site updated on a weekly basis. The past 8 months has been a bit of a ride!

Recording new CD

The drums are done....thanks to a fantastic drummer Chris Dadge. Chris recently recorded tracks in Nashville with Alberta songwriter Tariq as well as recording for Lorrie Matheson and the Bent Spoon Ensemble. Starting next week Lorrie and I will start tracking the rest of the album. It's going to be a pop album with some production surprises!

I am booked up to the end of April 2005 and after that it is going to be full time playing original music gigs.

Recording new CD

Recording new CD

It's always hard to decide how, where and when to record your music and take the next creative step. Starting January 2005 I will head into the studio (Organic Sound) and record new songs for my 2nd CD. Carl Cress will be engineering and co-producing while Calgary's finest songwriter and musician Lorrie Matheson and I will be producing and playing all instruments on the CD (with maybe an exception to the drums).

Look for a release sometime before the Summer of 2005!
